This piece represents my feelings of being trapped in my extended isolation. I weaved these metal wires to form a cage of unexpected shapes to exemplify the confusion and mix of emotions I was feeling daily. I chose to wear only silver in these photos because I was doing everything in my power to make myself corrosion-resistant like stainless steel. The innocence and hope I once had for COVID to be eradicated were eliminated and I had to become a warrior to fight for my survival.
