Part 4: Listless Overgrowth

During quarantine, many Americans seemed more concerned about when their hair salon would reopen than the deadly pandemic at hand. Others embraced not getting a hair cut or their color done, wearing the overgrowth proudly. This mask was shaped using strands of my hair which were brushed out during quarantine. It was molded into mask form using a heavy duty hairspray. My natural hair was then weaved in to form the top piping.
